Earlier this month I said that I had 12 awesome stacks to release this month. I have already released 9 stacks this month. This last set of stacks is actually pretty exciting (not that I am biased or anything). Lets dig in and see all the new goodies we’ve got...

5 Free New Stacks
Last month was one of my biggest releases of all time. I released 8 new stacks and most of them were big ones. They are big elaborate stacks that rival plugins in the amount of setting and configurations available. However, my list of small simpler stacks was growing. So this month I have 12 stacks to release. All of them tend lean towards the simpler side of things. Today I am going to release 5...

Learning to work with Auto Save →
One of the biggest complaints that I see from people is that in Lion, Save As is gone. Yes its gone and it does require a paradigm shift on how you work with your documents. I think that once you understand how the system works, it will click for you. MacWorld wrote a great article on how to make the shift to Auto-Save. You should read it. Live shows lose, Postcasts win!
As you know, I have been doing 2 live webcasts every Wednesday and Friday. I have been getting a ton of great feedback form users and they are really loving it. However, since I released my shows on iTunes, the attendance of the live shows has plummeted to an average of 3 people. The reason for this is that I guess people enjoy watching the shows on their time. I can’t blame them, I do the...

Remembering Steve Jobs
Back in 2005 I walked onto the Apple campus at 1 Infinite Loop for the first time. I was a consultant and I had my Dell Windows laptop in hand. When I got to my desk, I was warned that I would not be able to put “that thing” on the network! I was introduced to my first iMac. From that day forward, I went Mac and never went back! (Sorry, had to say it!) I worked at the Apple campus for...

Hipsum & Lipsum TextExpander Snippets
I use Lorem Ipsum all the time in order to fill in sample content for new webpages, document templates, etc. Its pretty much the de-facto standard out there for filler text. There is even a great little Mac app called LittleIpsum that helps you gerneate ipsum text as well. I used this app along with my own static text snippets for a long time until I read a string of awesome blog posts from Brett...

Samurai has been unleashed!
It was almost 2 years ago when I first saw CU3ER. It was an AMAZING flash based slider that did phenomenal animations. It did things that no one had ever seen before. I tried for a very long time to turn CU3ER into a stack. However, with some technical hurdles and a very hefty licensing fee, I had finally given up. Until just a few days ago… I came across the Slicebox jQuery library that brought...

Fix the UNDO in Mail.app when using Gmail →
This has plagued me for as long as I can remember using GMail IMAP. When you delete an email from your inbox and then hit ⌘Z to undo, the email disappears FOREVER!!! Apparently, there is a setting in GMail IMAP to fix this. I don’t know when this was added, but its about time!
